Institutional Stove Solutions (InStove)
In January 2014 I began working as a social media intern at Institutional Stove Solutions. InStove is a local non-profit out of Cottage Grove, Oregon that sends institutional cook stoves to third world countries. As an intern I was responsible for many projects, but my main focus was a social media campaign.
Sustainable Development Campaign
My campaign was centered around the idea of sustainable economic development and highlighted the positive actions InStove takes to create healthy and sustainable communities in developing countries. My campaign included one small poster, two blog entries, two LinkedIn updates, three Pinterest links to the website, ten Facebook posts, and fifteen Tweets. Below are a few samples of what was posted on InStove's social media outlets!

This specific image, taken by my project coordinator, was used to increase awareness about indoor air pollution. I created this as an assignment to visualize the health effects of current cookstoves in developing countries.
This picture was also taken by my project coordinator, and together we were able to develop a message used on InStove's social media outlets.
